Joe Saldivar Jr is the Director of Facilities Management at Karmanos Cancer Institute with more than 30 years of healthcare facilities leadership experience. He oversees Facilities Management and support services critical to hospital operations and patient care. Joe currently serves as President of the Michigan Society for Healthcare Engineering (MiSHE) and has been actively involved with the organization for over 15 years. He also teaches healthcare facilities management at Owensboro Community and Technical College. He is passionate about leadership, operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and building strong teams that support exceptional patient care.
