Hurley Medical Center is the premier public teaching hospital in the Flint, Michigan area. They are the furthest north hospital for trauma in Michigan. They have the only Level 1 Adult Trauma Center, the only Level 2 Pediatric Trauma Center and the only Level 3 NICU and PICU in the region. They also house the region’s only Burn Center and the county’s only Maternal-Fetal Medicine Program.
Annually, their emergency department handles over 100,000 emergency cases.
